Built in Rust
Many desktop meeting assistants, Cluely and Granola among them, are built on Electron, which ships its own copy of the Chromium browser and Node.js inside every app. Odrivyn is written in Rust on Tauri and draws its window with WebView2, which Windows already has, so there is no second browser to download, install or keep in memory.
An Electron app carries its own Chromium, so even a simple one installs at well over 100 MB.
Measured on Windows 11 with Odrivyn 1.9.8 open and signed in: private memory of the app process, and of the app plus its WebView2 processes.
